BUZZ-Aehr Test Systems jumps after Q1 results surpass estimates

** Shares of Aehr Test Systems AEHR.O jump 17.6% premarket to $15.66, highest since Aug 30, after co's Q1 results top estimates

** Chip equipment testing firm late Thurs posted rev of $13.1 mln, down 36% yr/yr, and adj EPS of 7 cents

** Consensus estimates of 2 analysts called for rev of $12.2 mln and adj EPS of 2 cents, per LSEG data

** Co said it's poised to benefit by expanding its test and burn-in products into large and fast-growing markets, such as artificial-intelligence processors, gallium nitride power semiconductors, hard disk drive components and flash memory devices

** It reiterated its full-yr outlook for total rev of at least $70 mln and net profit before taxes of at least 10% of rev

** Through Thurs close, AEHR shares have shed 50% YTD
