The Nasdaq and the S&P 500 dipped on Friday, with Netflix among the biggest drags on a dour quarterly forecast, while all three indexes stared at weekly losses amid diminishing hopes that the Federal Reserve would cut interest rates anytime soon. .N

At 13:01 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 0.50% at 37,966.1. The S&P 500 .SPX was down 0.49% at 4,986.57 and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was down 1.39% at 15,384.389.
