BUZZ-Regions Financial down after Q1 profit slumps

** Shares of Regions Financial RF.N down 2.26% at $18.57 in late morning trading

** Co reported a 42% decline in Q1 profit on lower interest income (NII)

** RF's income fell to $343 million, or 37 cents per share in Q1, from $588 million, or 62 cents per share, in the year-ago period.

** NII available to common shareholders fell 16.4% to $1.18 billion

** Including session's moves stock is down ~4.1%, YTD
